.  On moving back to Launceston I thought I would try and register with an agency until I found permanent work and it was my very good fortune to find Nursecare Personnel

I cannot overstate the positive personal and professional experience Nursecare has given me.  I have worked all over Tassie – been to Flinders Island, Campbell Town, St Helens as well as working in Calvary Hospitals in Launceston and Hobart and many aged care facilities.  A few months ago (in my wisdom – or lack thereof) I decided to take a permanent position as a Clinical Manager in an aged care facility in Launceston – it took only two months for me to realise how much I missed the variety and experience Nursecare gave me so ‘tail between my legs’ I called them and asked to be back on the job!  They, with their usual friendliness, welcomed me back with open arms.  So I am back and am very happy to stay.

I started working at Nursecare Personnel in March this year wanting to gain some experience in aged care and the private sector of acute care.

Nursecare Personnel were able to arrange some family friendly 9-3 shifts during the week for me on St. Johns ward at Calvary.

I have also worked a few weekend shifts in aged care, at Kanangra, where I received a 2 hour orientation to the facility and an overview of the routines and responsibilities of the RN.

I have now returned to my regular fulltime job with Launceston Polytechnic as a teacher and I am able to draw from these experiences when delivering classes to student enrolled nurses and students undertaking certificate III in aged care.

I would recommend Nursecare Personnel to anyone wishing to join a professional nursing agency with supportive and friendly staff.
